LSBF in Singapore Named Best Private School in Accountancy, Hospitality and Tourism at 2016 Training & Education Development Awards

London School of Business and Finance in Singapore is proud to announce that it has won three awards at this year’s Training & Education Development Awards. At the ceremony, held on the December 1st, the school received awards for The Best Private School in Accountancy and The Best Private School in Hospitality & Tourism, along with The Gold Award for Corporate Training for Financial Management.

LSBF expands Executive Education portfolio globally with BAC-accredited programmes

London School of Business and Finance (LSBF) is proud to announce the expansion of its Executive Education portfolio to 33 exclusive programmes, after recently being accredited by the British Accreditation Council. The new suite of programmes, which will be open to both domestic and international applicants, includes a range of short programmes and postgraduate certificate courses which are tailored to the needs of working professionals.

As part of the LSBF Great Minds series, Chris Wakerley MBE, Managing Director and Co-Founder of KPMG Boxwood, discussed his experiences of business in an interview with Dr Steve Priddy, Head of Research at London School of Business and Finance (LSBF).

Mr Wakerley co-founded Boxwood in 2000. The company has worked across a range of sectors - including retail, infrastructure, private equity and life sciences – and was acquired by KPMG in 2015.

Michael Gray, General Manager of the Hyatt Regency London - The Churchill, and Area Vice President for the UK and Ireland for Hyatt International, has spoken out about the hospitality industry and the great career paths it has to offer.

Speaking to London School of Business and Finance (LSBF) as part of the Great Minds video series in the luxurious surroundings of The Churchill (the company’s London branch under his management), Mr Gray described hospitality sector careers as ‘wonderful’.

LSBF Great Minds series wins prestigious Editor’s Award at PQ Awards 2016

London School of Business and Finance’s (LSBF) Great Minds series, an ongoing series of video interviews with business and political leaders, has now become an award winning video series.

At the PQ Magazine Awards 2016, held on 23February in Central London, the LSBF Great Minds series received the prestigious Editor’s Award.

More than 20 business and political personalities were interviewed last year as part of the Great Minds series, including the start of a new live audience category of videos: Great Minds Live.

LSBF Launches New E-Commerce Website for CIMA and ACCA Programmes

London School of Business and Finance (LSBF) today announced the launch of a brand new website completely dedicated to professional courses including accountancy qualifications ACCA and CIMA. As LSBF’s first e-commerce website, it was designed to encourage student engagement, making information more accessible and giving them the ability to easily book their courses at any time.

London School of Business and Finance regrets the Home Office decision to revoke its Tier 4 licence. Our priority is to protect our hard working international students and their ability to complete their courses  and we have plans in place to manage the impact on students and staff following the Home Office decision.

LSBF in the PQ Awards 2016 final with 5 nominations

London School of Business and Finance’s (LSBF) accountancy faculty, students, resources and programmes have, for another consecutive year, been nominated for the PQ Magazine Awards, which confer accolades to the best institutions, teachers, materials, students and learning platforms in the accountancy market.

Following a year of development and significant investment in new programmes, facilities and resources, LSBF and its official e-learning partner InterActive were shortlisted with a total of five nominations in categories such as Study Resource of the Year, Best Use of Social Media and Online College of the Year.
