Online Global MBA (Marketing Management)

In today’s marketplace, digital marketing plays an increasingly important role in managing products and brands, and reaching consumers. This degree, delivered 100% online through LSBF's online learning platform, examines the opportunities and problems presented by globalisation, as well as solutions to these problems.

The Global Marketing Management module requires you to create a hypothetical global marketing plan. To do this, you will draw upon your newly acquired knowledge of marketing policies; targeted marketing; regional cultures; and different legal and political environments. It will also allow you to use the digital marketing strategies, tools and methods covered by this programme.

GLOBAL MARKETING MANAGEMENT

Globalisation is an ever-present, growing concern in today’s business world, so managers have a responsibility to prepare organisations for its effects. This module develops your understanding of international marketing environments, global strategies and the components of global marketing plans.

On successful completion of the module, you will be able to:

  • Assess the main approaches to global marketing and identify the information required to establish and implement effective global marketing decisions, policies and strategies.
  • Synthesise and critically evaluate a marketing plan.
  • Examine the global marketing environment and its impact on marketing strategy formulation for a given global organisation.
  • Identify management issues caused by globalisation and evaluate market entry strategies.

This module explores digital marketing communication strategies and elements of law that are particularly applicable to the digital media. You will also examine search engines’ methodology to get an understanding of how they work and what they look for.

On successful completion of the module, you will be able to:

  • Examine the main approaches to internet marketing and e-promotion.
  • Assess the effectiveness of digital marketing strategies and tools.
  • Explore the relationship between digital marketing communication strategies and successful public relations management.
  • Appraise the current digital marketing communications practices in a global organisation, making suggestions on how to improve these practices.
  • Analyse current developments in new media and their potential impact on the marketing strategies of a chosen organisation.
