LSBF ACCA Heads to The City

LSBF ACCA Heads to The City

‘Neighbours, everybody needs good neighbours’, went a famous theme tune. That little ditty certainly rings true when it comes to business schools. In the City of London, LSBF will find itself at the heart of UK’s financial and accountancy hub …

As vital as expert tutors, flexible ACCA courses, industry connections and the rest of the trimmings are in making a business school a developing ground for successful accounting professionals, the importance of location cannot be overlooked.

A business school owes it to its students to present them with opportunity. Of course, passing on hard-gained industry insights, setting up networking events and supplying careers guidance opens up countless doors for students. But a business school can also ensure opportunity knocks on its students’ doors by thinking hard about where its own doors are.

Why the move to The City?

No matter what you are studying, it’s crucial that you fully immerse yourself in your subject area. Accountancy and ACCA are no different. And what about once you’ve finished studying? Does that mean you should stop learning? Well you could do, and then see yourself overtaken by someone more dedicated and hungrier than yourself.

One way to live and breathe your chosen discipline is to position yourself where that discipline lives and breathes, keeping yourself close to its pulse. This is where professionals in the industry exchange ideas – and business cards. This is where you need to be. And where better to do so than The City?

And this is where LSBF is moving to.

LSBF itself is now taking advantage of an opportunity that has arisen – the chance to embed itself even further into The City, the beating heart of business in London.

LSBF ACCA’s new home in The City

We will soon be moving our ACCA operations to Billiter Street, a short walk from the fabled ‘Old Lady of Threadneedle Street’ and that distinctive newcomer, ‘The Gherkin’. The new campus will be welcoming LSBF ACCA students from the very first intake of 2014.

Even more importantly for devotees of accountancy, The Big Four – KPMG, Deloitte, PricewaterhouseCoopers and Ernst & Young – are all based in the area. This means, our students will be rubbing shoulders with some of the biggest names in global business and finance!

New developments, new methods and new thinking in business – it all happens here, right next to our new campus. We intend to stay at the forefront of business and finance. If that sounds like a good place to be, come and join us – and our neighbours.
