Small Business Forum launched in Bristol

Small Business Forum launched in Bristol

A new group has been launched in Bristol to enable local business people to share tips and advice. The Bristol Small Business Forum was launched in March, and monthly meetings will now be held at the Bradley Stoke Leisure Centre.

The group was launched to provide local people with the chance to experience the benefits of becoming a member. The launch featured local public speaker, Julian Okoye, who opened the event with his talk, “How judo helped me in public speaking: tips for small businesses.”

Digital marketing expert Neil Wilkins was also present at the launch and gave a talk on successful social media marketing.

Welcome

Meetings for the Bristol Small Business Forum will be held on the second Monday of every month at 6:30pm. The events are free to attend, but those interested in joining the group are required to pay an annual membership fee.

Bristol businesses are invited to attend two of the group’s events before deciding whether to become an official member. Those interested in attending the meetings will not need to book in advance, as they are welcome to turn up on the day.

Advice

The upcoming meetings will enable businesses to receive advice on a number of topics. The first meeting since the launch was held yesterday and featured speaker Chris Harding, who provided tips on how to use video in marketing.

The next event will be held on Monday 9th May and will include Mark Stonham discussing business-orientated social networking website LinkedIn.
