Business School
Danilo Mura,
Italy
Danilo Mura, an Italian Masters in Business (MIB) GGSB student, and one of the youngest members of the L’Oreal Italia sales team, has used his experience of studying at LSBF’s uniquely international and multi-cultural school to help boost his current role in a global organisation. Danilo is currently studying with LSBF (expected to graduate 2013) and started working for L’Oreal Italia after finishing his exams in London. Now considered a senior member of the Sales and Category team, studying at LSBF with its diverse student body helped him understand the complexities of international management and develop negation skills to work across nationalities. “At L’Oréal your own ideas make the difference. People are encouraged to pursue what they consider good for the company. Hence, diversity of styles it is something appreciated, and LSBF gave me the opportunity to have that unique intercultural experience meeting people from all over the world. “In sales, understanding customer’s needs is the priority in order to set a successful negotiation. In my view, Intercultural Management and International Negotiation are core skills that help every day to match customer’s needs.” What’s your advice for new students? Learning an additional language can help with careers prospects, it also means that you can travel and better understand other cultures. But, always take time to prepare your CV and cover letter, and think carefully about how you can be an asset for the company you are applying to.

Madeleine Creer,
She thanks the tutors for their great support and the opportunity to meet and interact with a range of different students. Madeleine hopes that one day she can become a lecturer and teach students herself – and her Global MBA will definitely help with that.
Purity Laird, Kenya/UK
The only thing standing between Purity and her ambitions to work for her dream organisations in Kenya was an MBA. Purity was already a Chartered Accountant and working full-time in a demanding role, so an online programme was the best route for her to earn her master’s degree.
Felipe Arana,
"I think it's the best thing I've done for my education."
Iliyana Stamatova, Bulgaria
“What I enjoyed most about the course where that they are very practical, they literally give you an arsenal of tools and skills you need to take with you.’’
