Start-ups in property sector to receive more support
Venture capital platform Pi Labs has partnered with real estate company CBRE to support the next generation of start-ups in the property sector.
The partnership will provide start-ups with mentoring and identify new technologies to benefit clients.
Start-ups will be mentored by real estate experts, as well as having the chance to take part in a proptech accelerator programme.
Pi Labs is Europe’s first property tech venture capital firm, investing in companies through its accelerator programme and backing early stage companies.
Applications are currently being accepted for the company’s 2016 Winter Programme.
CBRE UK Managing Director Ciaran Bird said: “Our relationship with Pi Labs allows us to be at the forefront of proptech, and helps us to identify emerging technologies for the benefit of our clients and the property sector as a whole.”
He added: “Pi Labs has evolved rapidly since its inception and can now provide us with a unique view of the trends and new proptech innovations for all aspects of the real estate sector.”
