Vodafone launches new fibre broadband for small businesses

Vodafone UK is supporting small businesses across the UK by launching a new secure broadband and fixed line service.

According to the company, the Superfast Fibre Broadband service, which will offer speeds of up to 76Mbps, is aimed at businesses that have up to nine employees.

Features

The new service will offer a wide range of features, including Vodafone’s cloud-based call diverting system, SmartDivert, and Beamforming technology, which will enable businesses to access a better Wi-Fi signal in buildings.

Businesses will also be able to give selected devices in a workspace priority connection over others through a feature called Boost.

The service will be accessed through Vodafone’s new “state-of-the-art” router, and packages will start at £30.00 per month on a 24-month deal and will include the broadband and line rental.

The new service comes just over a year after the company launched Connect, in June 2015, a consumer broadband service that was later rolled out to over 22 million homes in October.

Essential

Commenting on the arrival of the company’s new broadband service for small businesses, Vodafone UK Enterprise Director Phil Mottram said that it is “exciting news” for the UK and that “superfast, reliable, secure broadband” is “absolutely essential to keep the country’s businesses in business”.

He added: “We’ve invested heavily in our own dedicated network of enterprise quality, fibre optic broadband and can now offer a broadband and landline phone package that’s feature rich with the benefit of enhanced service levels.”
