Santander to host business support and advice event in Glasgow

Santander will be hosting a five-day business event in Glasgow to provide inspiration and advice for businesses in the local community.

The Breakthrough Moments Festival, which will be held at Blythswood Square from 25th to 29th April, will include free events and talks from successful entrepreneurs.

Opportunities

Businesses will be able to receive information on a wide range of business topics, such as cyber safety, innovation and how to maximise opportunities and entrepreneurial spirit.

The festival will include Breakthrough LIVE, a networking event that will provide help, advice and inspiration for start-up companies or those who are considering setting up their own business. The event will include a talk from two local entrepreneurs, who will discuss the process of starting up a business and how they achieved success.

There will also be a talk from a leading entrepreneur on Glasgow itself, which will enable businesses to learn about what makes the city such an ideal location to do business and how the city is continuing to grow from strength to strength.

Insight

Speaking about the benefits that the festival will provide, Santander said that it aims to help local communities and businesses with ambition and will offer “a great opportunity for delegates to gain insight, share experience and develop new contacts in a unique, vibrant environment.”

The company will also be bringing the Breakthrough Moments Festival to other parts of the UK, including Birmingham from 9th to 13th May, Plymouth from 23rd to 27th May and Liverpool from 20th to 24th June.
