NatWest’s Capital Connections scheme available for UK businesses

Specialist lender Together has confirmed that the company is part of NatWest’s Capital Connections panel of finance providers, with the scheme now being available to businesses nationwide.

The scheme enables businesses that are unable to obtain finance from NatWest to have access to alternative funding.

Opportunities

SMEs will now be provided with more funding opportunities, with NatWest’s Capital Connections panel consisting of Together, peer-to-peer lending platforms Assetz Capital and Funding Circle, small business loans company iwoca, and RBS Social and Community Capital for social enterprise and charity lending.

The scheme will be available for businesses with a turnover of up to £25 million. Customers can contact the funders directly or be referred by NatWest.

The nationwide launch of the scheme comes after a successful pilot in South West England, Wales and Scotland earlier this year.

Together will be working with small businesses and entrepreneurs across the UK to help them have access to the funding that they need.

Complementary

Commenting on the scheme, Together Commercial CEO Marc Goldberg said: “We’re delighted that the Capital Connections scheme is now available nationwide, giving us the opportunity to assist even more SME customers where direct funding from NatWest is not available. Our broad product range, combined with funding channels of over £1.6bn and our expertise in the specialist lending sector, provides customers with a complementary offering. We look forward to working with small businesses and entrepreneurs across the UK to deliver the funding they need.”
