Citibase launch new centres for Scottish businesses

Office space provider Citibase has announced plans to expand in Scotland, with two new centres being launched in Aberdeen and North Lanarkshire.

The new centres will see Citibase doubling its number of business hubs in Scotland, which will provide flexible workspace for 500 Scottish businesses and boost the country’s economy.

Affordable

Citibase Aberdeen will be situated in a sought-after location on Queens Road in the West End, just a short distance away from the city centre, whilst the other centre will be located in the fully refurbished New Alderston House in Strathclyde Business Park in North Lanarkshire.

The centres will provide businesses with flexible workspace, with short-term and affordable contracts being offered.

The centres will also be ideal for businesses at various stages of development, as there will be suites suitable for individuals and larger companies.

Businesses will be provided with a wide range of services, including access to high-speed broadband, meeting room facilities, personalised call handling and business support.

Diversity

Commenting on the new centres, Citibase CEO, Steve Jude, said: “These new centre openings show that forward-thinking landlords are now recognising the diversity of occupier needs, looking to providers like Citibase to meet SMEs’ demands while helping them generate cash from under-utilised office buildings.”

He stated that “landlords are realising that flexibility and affordability are the order of the day in this world of the New Economy, and when these qualities are combined with well-located workspace it creates an irresistible mix for small businesses.”
