Metro Bank to open new store in London

As part of their expansion plan, Metro Bank is opening a new branch in Liverpool Street, London.

This will be the company’s 52^nd store, with 12 more planned to open next year.

New store

Metro Bank was founded in 2010, and was the first new high street bank to launch in the UK in 150 years.

The new Liverpool Street store will provide a free meeting room for business customers, on-the-spot cards, instant opening of bank accounts, and networking and community events.

Opening

Lord Mayor Elect of the City of London Alderman Charles Bowman said: “I am delighted to be officially opening, during my first week in office, this Metro Bank branch in the heart of the Square Mile – a demonstration of the bank’s growth and ability to meet public need.
