Business School

Youssef El Shaikh,

Egypt

Although Youssef is only expected to graduate in 2014, he’s already a great example of a successful and hardworking student. Alongside his undergraduate course, he’s also one of the vice-presidents at the LSBF Student Association, where he leads several projects, events and campaigns. One of his main goals is to achieve the highest possible academic degree and start his career in the business world. With the skills and career support he has at LSBF, he has no doubt that he will achieve his goals. “What is the most enjoyable about the course is challenging myself to do additional research about variety of topics and having intellectual discussions with tutors and colleagues.” Youseff also highlights the beneficial impacts that living and studying in London can have in the early days of his career: “London provides an easy access to a rich cultural life, with theatres, jazz and worldwide cuisines being affordable by everyone. London has everything you could wish for, apart from the sun.” What's your advice for new students? Don’t expect front seats if you’re giving nosebleed effort. Be different to make a change.
