Sage Live launched for UK accountants

Software company Sage has launched Sage Live for UK accountants and entrepreneurs.

The company stated that the product is designed to enable small and medium-sized businesses in the UK to easily manage their finances.

Development

The real-time product was developed in partnership with cloud computing company Salesforce, and is built on the Salesforce App Cloud.

Sage and Salesforce have designed the product to provide entrepreneurs and accountants with a more customised experience. Businesses can connect to data sources that they have chosen themselves and tailor the product to their business.

It provides businesses with instant access to a range of tools, including reports that will help them make informed decisions in real-time. Businesses can also connect to real-time scoreboards, notifications, and news feeds.

Partnership with Salesforce

Sage first announced its partnership with Salesforce last year. Speaking about the partnership and Sage Live in an interview with CBR, Sage CEO Stephen Kelly said: “There are a number of strands. The first strand to cover is technology. So through the Salesforce 1 platform comes Sage Live. A project that wasn't even imagined a year ago.

"And then what we've seen is early adopter customers posting transactions, the product is live. That speed couldn't have been established without Salesforce.”

Sage Live is available to UK entrepreneurs and accountants as a subscription, with prices starting at £15 per month for each user. Users can have access to the Sage Live Essential package for £30 per month.
