London, 13 August 2026: London School of Business and Finance (LSBF) is pleased to announce that its Dean, Dr Shahnaz Hamid, has accepted an invitation from the prestigious 2026 QS Reimagine Education Awards to join their judging panel. 

The QS Reimagine Education Awards are a global platform celebrating institutions, organisations and innovators whose projects are redefining learning, employability and educational impact. The awards will take place in London from 7-8 December 2026 alongside their affiliated conference event.  

As a judge, Dr Hamid will contribute her academic and professional expertise to the evaluation of education initiatives from institutions, organisations and innovators around the world. Her deep experience in academic leadership, business education and programme enhancement makes her a valuable member of the judging panel, and well placed to assess the innovation, quality and real-world impact of the shortlisted projects. 

Academic Expertise and International Experience

Dr Hamid is Dean at LSBF and has extensive experience in Human Resource Management, Strategic Management, Leadership and Entrepreneurship. She has taught students at undergraduate, master’s and doctoral levels, working with learners from diverse cultural and professional backgrounds. She holds a Doctor of Business Administration in Human Resource Management and Strategic Management from SMC University in Switzerland, as well as an MBA and a bachelor's degree in commerce. Her research has been published in several scholarly journals. 

Commenting on her appointment, Dr Shahnaz Hamid said:

Initiatives such as these provide a valuable platform for sharing effective practice across institutions and encouraging us to think critically about how higher education can continue to evolve in response to the changing needs of learners and society.” 

Dr Hamid’s appointment reflects her contribution to academic quality, curriculum relevance and career-focused education. It also highlights the importance of LSBF’s ongoing engagement with international discussions about how business schools and higher-education institutions can respond to the changing needs of learners, employers and society.

The QS Reimagine Education Awards celebrate innovative projects and initiatives that are redefining how learning is designed, delivered, assessed and experienced. The 2026 awards feature 15 categories covering areas including AI in education, immersive experiential learning, learning assessment, business education, lifelong learning, employability, sustainability, inclusion, ethics and student wellbeing. Projects are assessed through several stages, and each entry is reviewed by a minimum of three judges with relevant expertise, before category winners are selected and reviewed by an international Grand Jury.
