LSBF Singapore to Collaborate with Wuxi Institute for ACCA programmes

Singapore, 12 July 2018 – Wuxi Vocational Institute of Commerce visited LSBF Singapore to establish a collaboration for ACCA programmes.

Wuxi Collaboration ImageWuxi, a state-run vocational college in Jiangsu, China, was represented by Vice Principal Zhou Bingyang, Dean of School of Accounting & Finance Zhu Guangming, Dean of School of International Education Zhao Li, and Director of Operation Department Pu Zhe.

The LSBF-Wuxi ACCA collaboration programme is one of the first approved programmes by China’s Ministry of Education between a private education institution in Singapore and a Chinese government institute.

Under this collaboration, Wuxi’s accounting students can study their diploma while pursuing the FIA (Foundations in Accountancy). Besides ACCA Online learning support, LSBF Singapore ACCA tutors will also facilitate teaching at the Wuxi campus. Students under this programme will then continue their ACCA journey at LSBF in Singapore thereafter.

“As part of this collaboration, we are also aiming to give LSBF students the opportunity to study at Wuxi and undergo an industrial attachment in China. We look forward to a very fruitful collaboration,” said Harry Sun, LSBF in Singapore’s new Assistant Director of Business Development.
