What is an undergraduate degree?
An undergraduate degree allows you to develop an in-depth understanding of your chosen area of study while gaining the confidence and connections required to progress in your dream career. It is possible to complete an undergraduate degree in only three years if studying full-time.
LSBF (London School of Business and Finance) currently offers two online bachelor’s degree in the UK options: BSc (Hons) Business Administration and BSc (Hons) Financial Management, both awarded by the London School of Business & Finance (Malta). These undergraduate courses are designed to prepare students for leadership roles in finance and business.
Many of our undergraduate students go on to enrol in a postgraduate programme or a professional qualification such as ACCA or AAT to maximise their career potential. An undergraduate degree is your starting point to a rewarding career – whichever field you choose to enter.

Entry Requirements
Qualification
-
As part of the undergraduate admissions process, students will need to have the equivalent of GCE A/AS Level 240 UCAS points, as outlined by LSBF Malta on a country-by-country basis, plus English at B2 level (IELTS 5.5 with 5.5 in all components). Students with Level 3 international qualifications can be accepted directly into the first year since we cannot calculate their UCAS points.
-
Students may be granted access directly into year 2 or year 3 of the programme if they hold qualifications equivalent to Level 4 and Level 5, respectively. These can be HNC (Higher National Certificate), HND (Higher National Diploma), or similar qualifications in a related subject. All exemptions will be mapped and confirmed by the Admissions and Academic Board. Each case will be assessed individually in line with our undergraduate admissions criteria.
Application Documents
-
The requirements for acceptance via the mature route include a minimum of 2 years of work experience. The student will need to provide 2 letters of reference and a CV.
-
If a student has strong qualifications but lacks an official English test, is not from a majority English-speaking country, or has not completed an approved English qualification, they may be evaluated by the Academic Board for an exemption. This will be based on work experience in an English-speaking environment or other evidence of sufficient English proficiency, assessed during an interview with the board.
Language
- IELTS 5.5 or equivalent.
- High school completed in English.
- Bachelors completed in English.
- 2 years of work experience in an English-speaking environment (upon approval by admissions board).
