LSBF and GGSB launch MSc Marketing Management

London School of Business and Finance (LSBF) is today introducing a Masters in Marketing Management to its portfolio of postgraduate programmes. Developed, delivered and awarded by Grenoble Graduate School of Business (GGSB), the programme provides an in-depth understanding of the operational impact of marketing decisions on corporate performance, preparing graduates for a wide range of marketing roles in international organisations. Starting in September 2014, the course will be delivered in the UK exclusively at LSBF’s London campus.

The programme will be offered as a dual award, combining a postgraduate degree with the opportunity to gain the CIM Professional Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing, the world’s largest organisation for professional marketers. Students will also benefit from the advantage of receiving a degree from GGSB, a triple-accredited institution, recognised by the Association of MBAs (AMBA), the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) and the European Quality Improvement System (EQUIS).

With a practical approach, the GGSB MSc Marketing Management will provide students with essential and industry-relevant skills to help them make sound operational marketing decisions at managerial level. In addition to the core courses, students can attend personal and professional development workshops which will cover current topics of interest, recent trends in management and career development.

Professor Maurits van Rooijen, Rector and CEO at LSBF, said: “The days of the 'old' marketing are gone and, over the last decade, this dynamic part of business has had to reinvent itself. The demand for talented marketing managers has grown exponentially as businesses realise the importance of marketing as a driver of competitive advantage. The GGSB MSc Marketing Management challenges students to think beyond the boundaries of conventional marketing, equipping graduates with extensive knowledge in all areas and preparing them for a wide range of operational and strategic roles in the global economy.”

The modules cover a range of industry-relevant subjects in fast growing areas, including digital marketing, product development, B2B marketing, consumer behaviour, international marketing, SEO and social media.

The 24 month programme begins in September and requires full-time attendance for the first academic year (September-June) followed by a Final Management Project on a marketing-related subject of the student’s choice.

Longstanding partnership

LSBF has a longstanding partnership with Grenoble Graduate School of Management which started in 2006 with the introduction of the GGSB MBA programme. GGSB is a triple-accredited institution, an honour shared by less than 1% of world's elite business schools. LSBF also offers GGSB’s Masters in Finance which has been ranked 7th best worldwide by the Financial Times in 2013, and their Masters in International Business (MIB), ranked the 13th best worldwide by the same newspaper.
