UK-based company enters top 20 gamification list

UK-based learning technologies company Growth Engineering has been named as one of the top 20 gamification companies for the second year running.

The company was entered into the Top 20 Gamification Companies List, which was compiled by Training Industry, a resource company that publishes top 20 lists of the top providers of training services.

Capabilities

Into its third year, the Top 20 Gamification Companies List selects companies based on criteria such as gamification capabilities and features, the growth potential and size of the company, the number and quality of clients, the company’s geographic reach, and the number of awards and amount of recognition that the company has achieved.

Training Industry does not rank the companies that it selects for the list, as the services offered by each company are diverse.

Growth Engineering, which was featured in the list for using gamification in all of its solutions, offers tools that enable users to quickly build learning games.

The firm was not the only UK company to make the list, with London-based digital learning company Saffron Interactive also being featured.

Engagement

Commenting on the award, Training Industry President, Ken Taylor, said: “Our third annual Top Gamification Companies List showcases the tremendous impact gaming is having on the corporate learning space. These companies are able to incorporate gamification strategies like adaptive learning, coaching and simulations to increase employee engagement and material retention.”

He stated that “Gaming, and the use of games in corporate training, is serious business” and that “These training companies bring gaming and training together in a way that can help businesses achieve learning and development goals by improving the efficiency and effectiveness of training initiatives.”
