New cloud app launched for UK SMEs

New cloud app launched

Software company SAP has launched a new front-office solution to enable small UK businesses in the digital economy to run customer interactions more easily.

SAP Anywhere will provide businesses with a wide range of digital tools for customer engagement, e-commerce, marketing, inventory management and business analytics. Businesses will be able to have access to the tools on computers and mobile devices.

Powerful solution

According to SAP, the cloud-based application will make it possible for small businesses to grow, and will enable SMEs to “capitalise on retail stores” and build an entire website or online store. Businesses will also be able to create marketing campaigns, manage the inventory and analyse the performance of the business.

The company stated that SAP Anywhere combines all of these features into a single cloud-based application, which will deliver a “powerful solution” to small businesses and will also allow them to avoid the “daunting task of managing technology infrastructure.”

The software will also be integrated with Google, PayPal and United Parcel Service (UPS) to provide easier solutions for small businesses.

Immediate return

SAP President of Global Channels and General Business, Rodolpho Cardenuto, said that the launch of SAP Anywhere is “great news” for SMEs in the UK.

He added that the more than 79 million SMEs worldwide are the “lifeblood of the economy” and that they need “SME solutions” that are engineered specifically for them.

“They also want immediate return on their investment. That’s why I’m so excited about SAP Anywhere. It’s a simple solution for growing companies. It’s a game changer. We believe it’s going to revolutionise our business and the industry,” he said.
