North East businesses to support 100 start-ups
Two businesses from the North East have teamed up for a scheme that will benefit 100 start-ups in the region and boost the local economy by £5 million.
Harlands Accountants will partner with TEDCO Business Support to provide businesses with support and guidance.
Harlands Accountants will offer businesses a 12-month subscription to cloud-based accountancy software, as well as expert financial advice on how to set up a business.
TEDCO Business Support will offer personalised support through its Start and Grow programme, providing businesses with advice, peer learning and guidance.
New businesses will receive access to support worth £7,000 through the programme.
According to Harlands Accountants, the partnership will result in 300 to 500 new jobs being created in the region, which will boost the economy by £5 million.
Harlands Accountants Commercial Director Phil Murray said that the company looks forward to helping those who are looking to set up a new business.
