Finalists for Great British Entrepreneur Awards announced

Great British Entrepreneur Awards

Over 100 entrepreneurs from the UK have been announced as finalists in the Great British Entrepreneur Awards.

The Great British Entrepreneur Awards, which are held in association with NatWest, celebrate the contributions and innovations of entrepreneurs in Britain and the impact that they have on the UK economy.

The awards recognise business leaders from a wide range of categories, celebrating their stories and helping them to achieve success.

This year’s awards include categories such as Great British Entrepreneur of the Year, International Trade Entrepreneur of the Year and Small Business Entrepreneur of the Year, as well as several new categories such as Entrepreneurial City of the Year and Innovation Entrepreneur of the Year.

The shortlist consists of entrepreneurs from a wide range of sectors, including food and drink, fashion and property.

According to Great British Entrepreneur Awards Founder Nick James, there has been an increase in the number of entries for this year’s awards, which are set to take place at the Gala Final on Tuesday 22nd November in the Ballrooms of Lancaster London Hotel.

NatWest Head of Entrepreneurship, Gordon Merrylees, commented: “Entrepreneurs are the wealth creators and the lifeblood of the UK economy. It’s incredibly important that we support them, throughout their journey with access to finance and networks; relevant mentors, general business advice and knowledge, all vital ingredients whether they are start up’s, early stage or high growth ventures. The standard of this year’s awards’ finalists shows just how much talent there is to support in the UK.”
