Virgin Trains launches new service for SMEs
Over the weekend, Virgin Trains launched a new booking tool for small and medium-sized businesses named Railblazers.
The service will support SMEs by enabling them to easily travel across the Virgin Trains Network to attend business meetings.
Railblazers is a self-booking tool that enables businesses to reserve journeys directly from a website all day, every day. Companies can create an account and add other users and departments to the account, enabling the whole business to use it.
The service also offers features such as collecting tickets without needing to present the card used to purchase them.
The tool is available to businesses across a wide range of sectors, as well as charities, sole traders, and partnership businesses.
Commenting on the service, Virgin Trains Group Commercial Director Graham Leech said: “At Virgin Trains we know that many SMEs face challenges getting ahead in business, which is why we support them both as suppliers and as customers. We put local communities and passengers at the heart of what we do.”
He added that the company is “fully committed” to supporting small businesses in the UK by creating bespoke offers that enable them to travel across the Virgin Trains Network and easily attend face-to-face meetings. He mentioned that these are “vital in securing deals and maintaining business relationships.”
