Danske Bank launches digital hub for Northern Ireland businesses

Digital hub for Northern Ireland businesses

A bank based in Northern Ireland has launched a digital hub for small businesses in the area.

Danske Bank has created the hub to help entrepreneurs overcome the challenges of running a small business.

According to Danske Bank, the hub is “one of a number of new initiatives” that will provide support for entrepreneurs.

The online hub will enable businesses to access a variety of interactive business tools, including a blog and videos containing ideas and insights from other successful small businesses in the area.

Tools will be provided for budding entrepreneurs who are considering setting up their own business as well as those who have established their start-up.

Danske Bank Business Banking Managing Director Richard Caldwell discussed the company’s reasons for launching the hub, stating that Northern Ireland has a “rich history of invention and innovation” and that small businesses are “the lifeblood of the economy.”

He went on to comment on the growth of the small business sector in Northern Ireland, describing it as “slower than it should be” compared to other parts of the UK.

Caldwell stated that the company’s new online hub aims to help businesses think about these issues, to encourage more start-ups, and to help existing businesses to “identify and create opportunities for growth.”
