Lloyds joins scheme to boost digital skills

Lloyds joins scheme

Lloyds Banking Group is supporting a scheme to help thousands of people across the UK to improve their digital skills and manage their money online.

The charity Good Things Foundation will work with the bank to deliver the scheme.

Lloyds will offer online skills support and training at 100 UK community centres to help people improve their digital and financial literacy.

Those who take part in the scheme will also have the opportunity to be partnered with the bank’s staff in their local area and receive face-to-face training.

Helen Milner, Chief Executive of Good Things Foundation said: “We’re delighted to be working with Lloyds Banking Group to support 100 of our Online Centres to help learners to improve their digital skills in order to better manage their money online.

“Working with Lloyds Banking Group means we can extend our impact and reach even more people, and we hope that relationships built between Online Centres and Lloyds Banking Group branches will support people for many years to come.”
