Metro Bank tops biggest survey of financial consumers in Britain
Metro Bank has been named Britain’s most trusted financial provider, in the biggest survey of financial consumers in Britain. The survey was carried out by financial advice website Moneywise for the Moneywise Customer Service Awards 2017.
The challenger bank earned the top spot for the second year running, after 50,000 Moneywise readers provided feedback on major banks, insurance companies, and peer-to-peer lenders.
The survey showed that Metro Bank is highly trusted among financial consumers, earning the Most Trusted Savings & Cash Isa Provider award, Best Mobile Banking App, and Best Current Account Provider for Branch Service.
Other major banks and finance companies also earned awards. Santander and LV were named Most Trusted Mainstream Bank and Most Trusted Insurer respectively.
First Direct earned six awards including: Most Trusted Credit Card Provider, Most Trusted Mortgage Provider, and Best Current Account Provider for Call Centre Service.
HSBC was found to be the most trusted bank regarding business banking, and was named the Most Trusted Small Business Banking Provider.
Zopa was awarded Most Trusted P2P Platform.
