LSBF Bursaries and Scholarships

We are dedicated to ensuring more of the best and brightest individuals from around the world can benefit from a first-class education. That's why we have a number of bursaries and scholarships especially created to offer greater opportunities to ambitious individuals from many different walks of life, and from right around the world.

LSBF bursaries and scholarships are only available to students applying for an LSBF undergraduate or postgraduate programme.

To apply, choose your bursary or scholarship and then email the completed corresponding application form to your programme consultant or scholarship@lsbf.org.uk. Please also include:

  1. A copy of your most current CV.
  2. Any relevant supporting documents to strengthen your application (e.g. job references, tutor references, transcripts). All references and any supporting documentation must be sent as part of your full application, nothing submitted separately will be considered.

 

Bursaries for January/February 2012 intake

  • Trium BursaryRead moreCollapse

    International and Home students are both eligible

    Funded by: London School of Business & Finance

    Open to: Up to 20 students applying for a postgraduate or undergraduate Trium programme for the January/February 2012 intake.

    Award Amount: up to £3500 (20 awards)

    Qualified candidates will be considered based on academic merit, relevant experience, and programme selection. Note that bursary funds are only for students enrolling in January 2012 and constitute a reduction in tuition fees of the amount awarded.

    Recipients of this award will be expected to act as ambassadors for LSBF and assist with marketing efforts once awarded.

  • Professional BursaryRead moreCollapse

    International and Home students are both eligible – Postgraduate Applications Only

    Funded by: LSBF Corporate Partner Network

    Open to: Up to 20 students who are interested in pursuing a postgraduate degree without interrupting their career. Only programmes offered part-time or online commencing in January 2012 will be eligible under the qualifying terms of this bursary.

    Award Amount: up to £2000 (20 awards)

    Qualified candidates will be considered based on relevant employment experience, academic merit, and programme selection. Bursary funds are only for the January 2012 intake, constituting a reduction in fees of the amount awarded.

    Recipients of this award will be expected to act as ambassadors for LSBF and assist with marketing efforts once awarded.

Scholarships

  • HRH Emerging Markets Scholarship (Patron's Scholarship)Read moreCollapse

    Only International students are eligible

    Funded by: HRH Prince Michael of Kent

    Open to: International applicants from emerging markets globally (excluding USA, Canada, and countries within the EU) that are dedicated to contributing to their home country's economic development.

    Candidates will be considered based on their Qualifying Statement where applicants will describe how undertaking the programme of their choice will affect career, educational, and personal goals. Candidates should also describe how they intend to contribute to the economic development of their country and what obstacles they will have to overcome.

    Recipients of this award will be expected to act as ambassadors for LSBF and assist with marketing efforts in their region.

  • Principal's Scholarship for Entrepreneurship Read moreCollapse

    International and Home students are both eligible

    Funded by: Founding CEO, Aaron Etingen

    Open to: Students who possess the entrepreneurial spirit and motivation to translate their visions into enterprises, both profit and non-profit.

    Candidates will be considered based on their Qualifying Statement where each applicant should include a history of activities demonstrating entrepreneurial spirit, from developing a project plan for a venture to actually having owned and operating a small business. Applicants should also describe how undertaking the programme of their choice will affect career, educational, and personal goals.

    Recipients of this award will be expected to act as ambassadors for LSBF and assist with marketing efforts once awarded.

  • Vice Rector's Scholarship for Academic ExcellenceRead moreCollapse

    International and Home students are both eligible

    Funded by: Professor James Kirkbride, LSBF Vice Rector

    Open to: Students who can demonstrate leadership potential in a global business environment both with exceptional academic merits and an established track record of excellence in their chosen career. Although these scholarships are historically awarded to postgraduate applicants, undergraduate candidates will be considered based on academic merit and an outstanding Qualifying Statement.

    Candidates will be considered based on their Qualifying Statement where applicants will describe how undertaking the programme of their choice will affect career, educational, and personal goals. Candidates should also describe how their academic merits and career success has provided them with leadership potential.

    Recipients of this award will be expected to act as ambassadors for LSBF and assist with marketing efforts once awarded.

  • LSBF Women in Business ScholarshipRead moreCollapse

    International and Home students are both eligible

    Funded by: Dr. Ann Thorne, Dean of Business School

    Open to: All female applicants who can demonstrate leadership potential in a global business environment both with exceptional academic merits and an established track record of excellence in their chosen career. Although these scholarships are historically awarded to postgraduate applicants, undergraduate candidates will be considered based on academic merit and an outstanding Qualifying Statement.

    This scholarship was introduced to alleviate the financial barriers women face internationally and encourage the strategic and analytical thinking necessary for women to progress up the corporate ladder.

    Candidates will be considered based on their Qualifying Statement where applicants will describe how undertaking the programme of their choice will affect career, educational, and personal goals. Candidates should also describe how their academic merits and career success has provided them with leadership potential.

    Recipients of this award will be expected to act as ambassadors for LSBF and assist with marketing efforts once awarded.

  • Alumni Fund Scholarship for Student DiversityRead moreCollapse

    International and Home students are both eligible

    Funded by: Professor James Kirkbride, LSBF Vice-Rector

    Open to: Students who have worked or lived in a variety of countries and are fluent in more than one language or can demonstrate that they support diversity in another context.

    Candidates will be considered based on their Qualifying Statement where applicants will describe how undertaking the programme of their choice will affect career, educational, and personal goals. Candidates should also describe how diversity affects the global business environment.

    Recipients of this award will be expected to act as ambassadors for LSBF and assist with marketing efforts once awarded.

  • Family ScholarshipRead moreCollapse

    International and Home students are both eligible

    Funded by: LSBF Alumni Network

    Open to: Immediate and extended family of both current and former students, including partners. Applicants must meet entry requirements of the programme to which they are applying.

    Candidates will be considered based on their Qualifying Statement where applicants will describe how undertaking the programme of their choice will affect career, educational, and personal goals. Candidates should also describe how their family member's experience at LSBF affected their choice to apply.

    Recipients of this award will be expected to act as ambassadors for LSBF and assist with marketing efforts once awarded.
