If you are using a letting agent, you should enquire, if the agent is accredited to the National Approved Letting Scheme (NALS). The scheme sets out defined minimum standard for residential lettings and management that an estate agent who is a member of NALS must provide, thus providing tenants with a professional and regulated service.
