As a continuously expanding school we are currently seeking Part Time Associate / Visiting Lecturers in all major business areas for our London, Birmingham and Manchester campuses.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have a Master's degree and/or a PGCE teaching qualification from a reputable university; PG Cert in Education considered as an advantage
  • Previous undergraduate teaching experience is a pre-requisite of this role
  • Successful candidates will have good command of the English language
  • Experience supervising student work and providing support and feedback
  • Challenging ideas, encouraging students to develop skills in critical and rational thinking
  • Communicating complex information to a range of diverse students, both orally and in writing

The role:

  • The responsibilities of the tutor include all aspects of planning, delivering and assessing student work on undergraduate business courses, ensuring that departmental objectives and learning outcomes are met, and content is relevant and reflects current practice.
  • Update and improve course documentation and guidance materials as appropriate, in order to enhance the student experience and support student progression.
  • Use a variety of learning and teaching methods/materials (e.g. web-based and blended learning) in order to enhance the student experience.
  • Attend Faculty, Department and Programme meetings/boards, as required, in order to contribute to the decision-making process and to develop productive working relationships within and across teams.
  • To actively be involved in staff development activities and attend meetings to discuss progress
