Senior Graphic Designer

The Role:

The successful candidate will be highly creative and passionate about graphic design. You will be able to demonstrate excellent knowledge and experience in the preparation of artwork for a variety of printed and online media. Your responsibilities will include implementing the new LSBF branding, the hands on development of creative and innovative design concepts, as well as working on brand development and strategy across the Creative Team.

A real 'yes' person, you should have the ability to work well both as part of a team and independently on your own initiative. You will be looking for an opportunity to progress into a more senior position, and be happy to get your hands dirty in a very fast paced and deadline driven environment. You should be able to call on a wide breadth of skills in print and online / digital design, as well as a strong ability to demand the confidence of key stakeholders on a day-to-day basis as well as working closely with a number of teams across the business.

Requirements:

• Previous experience having overall responsibility for the delivery of multiple projects within agreed timescales across a wide range of projects.
• Demonstrable leadership skills; must be capable of influencing and managing the output of others and developing creative team members and monitor and develop junior designers within the Creative Unit
• Must be able to work collaboratively on design projects and delegate tasks effectively.
• High degree of attention to detail; must be able to take responsibility for the accuracy of their own work and that of others.
• Strong print based and web portfolio demonstrating originality, flexibility and a broad range of skills
• Good working knowledge of HTML, CSS and Google SEO is desirable but not essential
• Good working knowledge of Creative Suite CS3/4 – Photoshop, Illustrator, In-Design
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a keen eye for quality and exceptional attention to detail
• Demonstrable commercial awareness within a complex environment
