    Royal promise: more scholarships for Kazakh students of LSBF

    During his recent visit to Kazakhstan HRH Prince Michael of Kent has promised more scholarships for Kazakh students wishing to study at London School of Business & Finance and Oxford University.

    The first visit by the member of British Royal Family to Kazakhstan took place on 23rd of September. His Royal Highness Prince Michael of Kent devoted his visit to strengthen educational and cultural links between two countries.

    HRH Prince Michael of Kent have met Prime Minister of Kazakhstan MR Karim Maximov and discussed the ways to develop countries’ collaboration in education and culture.
    HRH Prince Michael of Kent has expressed interest to establish a special scholarship programme together with London School of Business and Finance and University of Oxford for students from Kazakhstan to study in the United Kingdom.

    HRH has visited Kazakh office of LSBF where he met students and lecturers. As Patron of the London School of Business and Finance, His Royal Highness Prince Michael of Kent GCVO plays an important role in maintaining the School's reputation as one of the most dynamic in London. HRH Prince Michael has wide experience in business and is committed to encouraging the next generation of entrepreneurs. That is why Prince Michael of Kent has generously agreed to introduce a unique scholarship scheme to encourage the most promising students from emerging markets to study in London.
    There are currently more than 4,000 students at LSBF, 200 of them are Russian-speaking.

    ‘We are extremely honoured to accept the royal visit by HRH Prince Michael of Kent at Kazakh office of LSBF’, says Aziz Khamidov, LSBF regional director at Central Asia.
