Andy Wright MBA, Cert. Ed, FCCA
Head of Business School
Andy has 25 years’ experience in professional finance training, including 10 years as Head of a Business School in the West Midlands. He has considerable experience of ACCA programmes, and has written a study manual for ACCA Financial Management. He has recently provided executive training for corporate clients, including the Ministry of Defence. He is currently President of the ACCA West Midlands Regional Network.
Georges Knell MBA LBS, ESD Harvard, MCIM
LSBF Associate Dean
Georges comes from the private sector where he held board level roles with blue-chip companies across Europe. Georges holds an ESD from Harvard and an MBA from the London Business School. An experienced senior MBA lecturer in strategy and marketing communication.
Asare Amaning MA (Strategic Financial Management), FCCA
Asare has more than 18 years’ practical experience in Accounting and Finance. After working for several key companies, Asare successfully started his own consultancy and has since worked for multinationals such as British Gas and Equant Integrated as a consultant.
Asare is enthuastic about teaching, bringing a wealth of practical and academic knowledge to the classroom. Among others, he has taught at London Metropolitan University, and his areas of expertise include: Taxation, Auditing, and Financial Reporting.
Alessandra Canepa PhD, Research Fellow at Warwick University
Alessandra teaching and research interests relate to Econometrics and Financial Econometrics.She has worked as Financial Econometrician at the UK DMO (HM Treasury), Lecturer at York University and Research Fellow at Warwick University. She obtained her PhD in Econometrics from Southampton University in 2003.
Lawrence Wu MSc
Lawrence is a chartered accountant lecturing CFA, ACCA, CIMA, AAT, CAT. He has worked for many top business schools throughout London and successfully operates his own financial consulting company.
Narinder Uppal, BA MSc MCIM Chartered Marketer – Project Management, Fundamentals of Management, Marketing Strategies and Operations.
Narinder has over 15 years experience within the educational sector, with her most recent post being with The Chartered Institute of Marketing as their Head of Education Networks. Prior to joining CIM she enjoyed a number of years working in industry, colleges and universities, where she held high profile positions.
Narinder has also been very lucky in having the opportunity to bring together marketing and education and has conducted various business development projects for international markets, such as the Far East, Africa and India.
Recently she has taken the leap into setting up her own business in project management and gone back to her first love of teaching and training! Narinder is very committed and passionate about marketing, management and education.
Feroza Cooper, BA, MSc, CPA
Finance and Accounting Faculty
Since 1993 Feroza has been delivering consultancy projects on UK and US individual and corporate taxation, expatriate tax and accountancy work performed in United Kingdom, United States, Singapore and India. These projects include subcontract assignments from professional accounting firms and corporate training firms. Client base includes diverse industry sectors such as manufacturing, retailing and services. Feroza also provides executive training in accounting and finance to international corporations from West Africa, Middle East and Far East.
Dr. Robert L. Jenkins PhD, MBA, MA
Robert’s academic background includes an MA in Economics (Cambridge University), an MBA in Finance (Cass Business School), a PhD in Accounting and Finance (LSE), and many years’ experience in the banking industry (Barclays, J P Morgan Chase & UBS). He also has experience in commodity futures, financial futures and exchange traded options.
