Roy Butcher
Academic Dean
Roy Butcher brings more than 30 years of experience in both academia and business to LSBF. As a business consultant, Roy has worked with both private and public sector organisations giving him unparalleled knowledge of conducting business in very different environments.
Roy has been active in academia for more than three decades, both in senior management positions and lecturing roles. He has also developed and delivered educational and training programmes for clients in the UK and abroad. He has taught at postgraduate level and is also experienced in delivering professional level qualifications such as ACCA and CIMA.
Gordon Bowen
Lecturer
Gordon is an accomplished scholar who also has 17 years' experience in the telecoms industry. He has BSc and MBA degrees, as well as a Doctorate in Business Administration specialising in Strategy. While Senior Lecturer at Kingston University he made crucial decisions regarding taught topics.
Employment in senior marketing, training and business development positions has left Gordon with exceptional levels of experience. This includes working as Director of the Thames Valley Business Advisors. He also holds prized industry qualifications from CIM and CIMA.
Cliff Glover
Lecturer
A graduate in Economics from the 1994 Group University of Sussex, Cliff also holds an MBA. He is an expert in Corporate Finance and has worked as Senior Lecturer at Greenwich University Business School. Over the last 2 decades, he has also had his papers on crucial topics published.
While a Corporate Planner to the CEO at British Petroleum (BP), he cemented his reputation by overseeing several crucial initiatives. He was also Special Projects Manager for leading multinational company Kraft Foods, where he introduced key ideas to increase efficiency.
Brian Swindells
Lecturer
Brian is a vastly experienced educator, having many years' involvement in senior positions. He taught at Master's level at the Open University, the UK's largest academic institution. He has also been instrumental in Management Information and Finance courses at the University of Greenwich.
An experienced Director in both the UK public and private sectors, Brian thrives in positions of leadership. He holds several respected professional qualifications, including membership of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and the Institute of Directors.
Peter Hirsch
Lecturer
Peter is a graduate of world leading institutions, including Cambridge where he achieved his Bachelor and Master's degrees in Natural Sciences. As a further mark of excellence, he successfully studied for his MSc at Imperial College.
With 25 years' international involvement in the Oil and Gas industry, he is fluent in multiple languages. Market leaders Shell International have sought his expertise in a pivotal senior role. Peter also has experience as a Quality and Improvement Coordinator for Chevron UK.
Richard Osborne
Lecturer
Richard has more than 30 years' experience in academia and is a passionate educator. Along with his BA in Comparative Literature from the University of Essex and an MA in Communications, he has a PhD thesis in submission. He also lectures at the globally renowned Central St Martins College.
Professionally, he has shown exceptional ability in a number of senior positions. This includes an editorial role at INTERLINK, which is an influential publication for economists. Internationally, he has worked in Paris with EDC Business School as Coordinator of Student Exchange.
