Andy has 25 years’ experience in professional finance training, including 10 years as Head of a Business School in the West Midlands. He has considerable experience of ACCA programmes, and has written a study manual for ACCA Financial Management. He has recently provided executive training for corporate clients, including the Ministry of Defence. He is currently President of the ACCA West Midlands Regional Network.

Marcus gained his MA from Oxford University, and has vast work and teaching experience. He has been a Finance Director of Philadelphia National Ltd, Finance Director of Deutsche Genoßenschaftsbank Investment Bank, Treasurer of European Asian Bank AG and Practice Manager of Rosenblatt. Marcus has been a senior lecture at various top business schools and universities for a number of years. He has been a course tutor and examiner on the MSc in Financial Management course at the University of London. Marcus is the author of distance-learning materials for various disciplines in finance at a number of UK universities and business schools.
Robert Jenkins – M, A and E
Robert’s academic background includes an MA in Economics (Cambridge University), an MBA in Finance (Cass Business School), a PhD in Accounting and Finance (LSE), and many years’ experience in the banking industry (Barclays, J P Morgan Chase & UBS). He also has experience in commodity futures, financial futures and exchange traded options. Robert has lectured in Finance and Corporate Strategy at numerous business schools, and for five years marked part II papers of the Association of Corporate Treasurers.
Stephen Coe – Advanced Financial Modelling
After gaining his MA in Engineering at Cambridge University, Stephen Joined KPMG, providing Financial Modelling consulting to (among others): Morgan Stanley, Merrill Lynch, BBC, RBS, and Bank of Scotland. He left KPMG to join UBS Warburg as Associate Director, providing training in financial modelling. Stephen is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
Chris Nardiello (Hart) – Understanding Financial Statements, Accounting for Performance and Control
Christine is an experienced senior manager and lecturer, and a professionally qualified accountant. She has work and lecturing experience in accounting, human resources and general management. Christine worked for 18 years at BPP, where she held a number of senior positions including Chief Executive of the BPP Malpas division. While taking care of her general management duties, Christine taught the ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW and ATT at BPP. She also taught on Matsers degree courses and wrote materials and exams for the programme.
Narinder Uppal, BA MSc MCIM Chartered Marketer – Project Management, Fundamentals of Management, Marketing Strategies and Operations.
Narinder has over 15 years experience within the educational sector, with her most recent post being with The Chartered Institute of Marketing as their Head of Education Networks. Prior to joining CIM she enjoyed a number of years working in industry, colleges and universities, where she held high profile positions.
Narinder has also been very lucky in having the opportunity to bring together marketing and education and has conducted various business development projects for international markets, such as the Far East, Africa and India.
Recently she has taken the leap into setting up her own business in project management and gone back to her first love of teaching and training! Narinder is very committed and passionate about marketing, management and education.

James Knight is an International Businessman and academic, he is a Fellow of the Institute of Directors, has two Fellowships for Business from Kingston Business School and the University of Bournemouth, Media and Public Relations School. He has worked for many international companies including Marriott Hotels and Lloyds/TSB Bank on their merger. A Guild member of Public Relations in London, Freeman of Public Relations for the City, he also sits on the CIPR Education Committee for Universities in Britain, he is also guest speaker in North America, on business in Las Vegas, Dallas, Charleston SC, Washington DC, Montreal and Vancouver. A qualified journalist with over 400 articles published globally and is Global Editor of a Travel magazine based in New York. James is a member of the Society of Public Relations in New York and a British American Chamber member sitting on the Employment and European Forums for business.
James lecturers in Strategy, Crisis, Change, Human Resource Management, Public Relations and International Business, and is the only British person to lecture at the Citadel American Officers Training Academy in America, on European Affairs

An Associate Partner at SAGE Group plc, David has over 20 years’ experience as a consultant in SAGE business software. He runs his own company consulting to a wide scope of high profile clients on SAGE, and implementing audit and internal controls.
Richard Hunt – Business English
Richard has worked both as a teacher and a businessman in the City. He has more than 11 years experience teaching English around the world and in England. He has worked in Russia and Vietnam, and also set up schools in China and South London. He is a qualified lecturer with expert status and has the high-level Diploma in Teaching English to Adults. Richard has also worked as a consultant for the aid community, including the United Nations, specialising in getting emergency funds to war zones, including Iraq and Afghanistan. Richard’s combined experience is perfect for his new role as manager of the English department at LSBF and its focus on business and professional English.
