The LLB (Hons) Law can also be combined with a professional qualification, LSBF's unique Graduate Development Programme and a job guarantee** as part of our innovative Undergraduate Trium Programme.
If you are an aspiring solicitor or barrister, this programme will act as your first step into the profession. The degree is approved by the Solicitors Regulation Authority and Bar Standard Boards as meeting the requirements for the academic stage of legal training, and graduates can enter the Legal Practice Course (LPC) to finish their legal training, having met those requirements with the LLB (Hons) Law. This career path is not the only path available to students however, with lucrative careers available in any number of fields, including the private & public sector, regulatory agencies, legal enforcement, and advisory services.
LSBF's world-class faculty will introduce you to the fundamentals of law, including the different types of law and their applications. You will also learn and practice the skills you will require to work in a legal field. The skills and theoretical knowledge you acquire will be immensely useful, even if you follow an alternate career path.
Throughout the programme, you will develop essential legal research and interview skills as well as numerous transferable skills including critical reasoning, analysis, and oral communication skills. Oral, written, e-communication, advocacy and critical reasoning skills, as well as the ability to plan personal development and work effectively as part of a group. Crucially, you will also undertake personal development modules covering topics like negotiation and effective work practices.
