HND Hospitality Management – Course Structure

The course is structured to examine the economic, social, political and environmental aspects of Hospitality Management. During the course you will gain the practical and management skills vital to understanding key business principles.

  • Food and Beverage Operations Management (FBO_HM)
  • Rooms Division Operations Management (RDO_HM)
  • Marketing in Hospitality (MH)
  • Travel and Tourism Sector (TTS)
  • Personal and Professional Development (PPD)
  • Human Resources Management for the Service Industry(HRMS)
YEAR 2
  • The Contemporary Hospitality Industry (CHI_HM)
  • Research Project (RP)
  • The Developing Manager (DM)
  • Work based Experience/Employability Skills (ES)
  • Small Business Enterprises (SME)
  • Sales Development and Merchandising (SDM)
  • Quality Management in Business (QMB)
  • Sustainable Tourism Development (STD)
  • Applicants must be at least 18 years of age
  • 4 GCSEs or equivalent (including English and Maths) and 120 UCAS points
  • Mature students or those with an interest in computing are encouraged to apply
