Career direction

This HNC is your first step towards a career as a Solicitor or Barrister. It allows you to progress onto a Law LLB degree, which is a Qualifying Law Degree and entitles you to exemptions from the academic stage of legal training. As a result, you can achieve your career goals sooner, whichever area of law you decide to work in.

Progress to HND (final Year)

The HNC Law also forms the first year of the 2 year Edexcel Higher National Diploma (HND) Law. This means it allows you to enrol onto the HND final year – if you would prefer a more comprehensive legal overview before starting your degree or career.
