Course Structure
The flexible Bachelor in International Business (BIB) allows you to complete your degree in 3 years, or with an optional work placement, in 4 years.
The final year’s core modules provide you with the opportunity to develop an international perspective on business. You can choose from a range of specialised pathways in the second semester of your final year, tailoring your studies to suit your objectives.
The 3-year BIB degree programme will equip you with a detailed understanding of global business. It includes a mandatory work placement during year 2, for a maximum of 12 weeks. This will allow you to develop specialist business knowledge and practical experience, giving you a competitive advantage in both your final year, and your future career. All work placements will be assessed as part of your academic programme, so you can apply your insight into everyday business practices to your studies.
When studying the BIB, you also have the opportunity, between your second and final years, to undertake a year-long work placement. During the placement, you will gain the practical skills and experience that employers look for, enhancing your CV and your career prospects. You will also take invaluable knowledge into your final year, giving you a greater understanding of the theory and how to apply it to real-life business situations.
