BA (Hons) Business Administration Course Structure*

The BA (Hons) Business Administration degree will help you to develop a practical and strategic knowledge of business and management. Choosing modules** in years 2 and 3 will allow you to gain the specific knowledge required to pursue your own personal career aspirations.

  • 260–280 UCAS tariff points or equivalent international qualifications
  • GCSE Maths: grade C or equivalent
  • English proficiency: PTE 54 (minimum: Listening 51, Reading 51, Speaking 51, Writing 51) or equivalent, IELTS 6.0 (minimum: Listening 5.5, Reading 5.5, Speaking 5.5, Writing 5.5) or equivalent, TOEFL 87 (minimum: Reading 22, Writing 21, Listening 21, Speaking 23) or equivalent

Students who do not satisfy the academic or English Language requirements can apply for our Foundation Programme to prepare for enrolment on the next available intake.

Year 3 12 Months

  • Contemporary Issues in Business

Students then select 4 of the following 6 modules:

  • Decision Making for Business
  • Coaching And Mentoring
  • Marketing of Services
  • PDP3 Personal and Professional Development for Business
  • Contemporary Retail Marketing
  • E-Marketing

Learning environment

You will be required to attend approximately 9 hours of lectures. You will also be expected to complete 6 hours of seminars, tutorials and computer based classes per week, alongside a significant amount of personal study time

* Nationals of the UK/EU can only pursue the Bachelor in International Business (BIB), the BSc (Hons) Business Management or BSc (Hons) Financial Management programme.
