Financial Markets, Trading and Analysis

Financial Markets, Trading and Analysis with trading terminals is a ground breaking course, exclusive to LSBF. LSBF has its very own dedicated trading terminal room in our London campus.

Trading Terminals are used by top investment banks, accountancy firms and blue-chip financial organisations to supply them with instant online international financial information. Financial executives, traders and analysts use trading terminals for crucial decision making and financial strategy planning by maneuvering funds and sourcing information from the world’s stock markets. Experience with trading terminals is a highly sought-after skill valued by all financial institutions, so students can benefit from an unrivalled competitive advantage in the global finance employment market.

The FMTA programme will provide students with the foundation levels and practical skills necessary to understand financial markets and products.

We provide two differnt courses which can be taken together or seperately.

Course1 (FMTA 1): Understanding of the financial markets and its products.

Throughout this very interactive and dynamic course, students will learn how financial markets are structured and the risk implications of trading with different products. In the last phase of the course they will be exposed to trading terminals.

Course 2 (FMTA 2): A full course on trading terminals.

The objective is to assist students to build up their confidence in using the terminals confidently for trading purposes and to read accurately financial data. This is an incredibly practical course and all the classes will take place in our dedicated terminal room. Students with existing knowledge of the product can join course 2 without attending to course 1.

Who is it for?

Course 1 (FMTA 1) - Ideal for anyone seeking to understand financial market products and particularly pertinent for accounts and financial professionals. No previous knowledge or experience is required to attend the stage 1.

Course 2 (FMTA 2) - Knowledge of different capital markets and products is required to attend this programme. Students should have none or very limited practical experience, this is not a course designed for experienced traders. Some revision on financial markets products will also be available during the programme.
