The Investment Management Certificate (IMC) is a benchmark qualification for people working in investment management. It has been approved by the Financial Services Skills Council and often quoted as a pre-requisite for posts in investment management companies.
How will I benefit?
The IMC is a good introduction to the financial services industry for those currently working in related areas. It can also be used as a stepping stone to other global professional qualifications, such as the CFA® programme.
Becoming an IMC gives you the right to join the CFA Society of the UK and to use the letters IMC after your name on business papers.
Who can enter for the IMC?
There are no formal entry requirements to the IMC programme, although the examinations do assume some mathematical ability. Some self-study will be required and the amount of this will depend on your previous experience of financial services.
