With many colleges running out of capacity for those wanting to take the TOPCIMA on PC course, LSBF is pleased to announce that it is teaming up with FBT, one of the UK’s leading TOPCIMA tuition providers. As a result, we are opening our state-of-the-art computer facilities for this challenging 6 day programme.

Our newly-opened facilities will provide students with the opportunity to not only practice for the demanding TOPCIMA examination, using excellent course materials and one of the best tutors in the industry, but will also allow students to write their examination in a convenient and comfortable setting.

The TOPCIMA on PC course and examination can be taken at our London campus, located in Holborn, or at our Birmingham campus, situated in the city centre steps from New Street railway station.

Our TOPCIMA on PC course is a results proven programme that consists of:

Three Days Case Analysis

This three day course provides an introduction to the TOPCIMA exam and the nine assessment criteria of the Marking Matrix. Students will take the following critical approaches to the essential ‘pre-seen’ materials:

• Analysis of the current position of the organisation
• Identification of problems facing the organisation
• Financial and non-financial analysis

 

The course is based around Chris Cains’s unique Learning System which utilises the FBT Strategic Briefcase.

• Two Mock Examinations will be provided as part of this course. These will be marked by Chris and you will receive feedback on a one to one basis.
• Three Days Exam Preparation

 

Three Day Exam Practice (TEP)

Each of the 3 days will require students to prepare and present information in a format suitable for presentation to senior management. Every student will be required to apply their higher level skills in:

1. Evaluating and choosing a specific proposal;
2. Identifying and evaluating priorities related to the proposals;
3. Recommending a course of action.

This will be done by completing a mock examination each day on the pre-seen TOPCIMA material. The Mock Examination will be marked by your tutor to ensure that marking is in line with the TOPCIMA matrix. You will also receive an overview debrief on the performance of the TOPCIMA group along with a one-to-one debrief on your own results.

All mock examinations will be completed using PCs to ensure the appropriate exam technique is mastered.
