Programme Structure
Our full-time CFA® courses run from March (for June exams) or September (for the December Level 1 exam). There will be approximately 15 hours of classes per week over a 10 week period, all of which are taught by experienced CFA® charterholders. We have created a comprehensive system that combines lectures with targeted study materials, to help students excel.
Level 1 Foundation Fortnight
The CFA Level 1 Foundation Fortnight is perfect for those who are unfamiliar with the world of investments. It will familiarise you with the basics of key CFA® subject areas, leaving you better prepared to succeed in your papers.
For four days each week, over the two-week period, you will cover:
- Time Value of Money — Present values and future values of single sums and annuities
- Investment Appraisal Techniques — NPV and IRR
- Measuring Risk — Standard deviations and variance
- Measuring Return — Arithmetic and geometric averaging
- The Portfolio Management Process
- An Introduction to the Main Asset Classes — Equity, fixed income, derivatives and alternatives
- Introduction to Financial Reporting
