CFA® Review (Full Time)

CFA Full-time classes

Our full time course runs over 12 weeks from early March (or late August for the December exam) (for level 1 there is a 10 week option if you have recently graduated with a finance degree). With 15 hours of lectures per week this course will combine teaching and question practice; this combination should enable you to become more confident over the course of your studies as you can see you are mastering the Candidate Body of Knowledge.

CFA Institute estimates that candidates will require an average of 250 hours of study per level. Whilst this is an average all candidates will require to study outside of class time. We will direct you clearly to the extra resources available to you as well providing study guidance on an individual basis.

At LSBF:

  • You will only be taught by CFA Charterholders in classes of less than 40
  • You will receive course material written exclusively for the CFA qualification
  • Classes will focus on building an understanding of the required Body of Knowledge whilst at the same time putting this into practice with exam standard sample questions
  • Level 1 fees include a Texas BAII calculator with tutorials covering their relevant functionality

If you do not have a background in Financial Markets we recommend that you attend or foundation programme. This covers the basics of financial maths, an introduction to financial reporting and analysis, the characteristics of the relevant asset classes and the portfolio management process.
