Management Dual Programmes
Dual Programmes from LSBF offer a groundbreaking concept in business education, combining postgraduate degrees with highly relevant professional qualifications. As an MBA student you can complement your degree with a choice of carefully selected industry standard qualifications that will help you to develop the dynamic skill sets that employers really value.
While the MBA is designed to give graduates a holistic overview of the core concepts of management, a professional qualification, whether ACCA, CIMA, CIM or CFA® will build the hands-on skills that you need to get ahead in the modern international market. We're committed to helping students to advance their careers and as an LSBF graduate you'll be entering the marketplace with the knowledge and skills you need to reach the top. Dual programmes blend academic excellence with professional skills, offering more than just a qualification and raising your profile with employers.
At LSBF we work closely with our network of corporate and educational partners and we use our strong links with industry leaders to ensure our curriculum reflects the modern marketplace. We know what today's employers look for in graduates and Dual Programmes offer a professional context to your studies, giving you an essential competitive edge, building your career on strong foundations, and fast tracking your progression with applied skills that will easily translate into the workplace.
Which Dual Programmes* does LSBF offer?
The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) is the global body for professional accountants, and LSBF holds Gold status as a provider of the ACCA qualification. Combining this professional standard with your MBA provides a strong combination of business theory and practical financial skills.
The combination of MBA and ACCA allows you to access a much wider range of opportunities at senior level, from consulting to decision-making roles, increasing your marketability to employers and helping your career progression. As part of your Dual Programme you'll undertake an accounting practice placement, giving you invaluable experience while earning points towards your final ACCA qualifications.
The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) qualification is built on three core pillars: Management Accounting, Business Management and Financial Accounting and offers a valuable, internationally recognised qualification. LSBF is a certified quality partner, and combining CIMA with your MBA adds a management-focussed professional qualification to your postgraduate degree.
As a Dual Programme you'll combine the academic standing of the MBA with the hands-on professional skills of the CIMA programme. You'll develop both the 'hard skills' associated with economics, finance, marketing and management as well as the 'soft skills' of leadership, teamwork, ethics, and communication.
Combining your MBA with the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) professional qualification reinforces your degree programme with the single most widely recognised qualification within the global investment community. An internationally respected qualification, CFA® has been described as 'the gold standard' by The Economist.
As a Dual Programme student you'll bring together the academic excellence of the LSBF MBA programme, with the practical workplace skills and experience afforded by CFA®.
Studying your MBA alongside the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) professional qualification adds a specific and modern marketing focus to your degree. You'll develop the practical workplace skills required by employers and ensure that you graduate with an up-to-date understanding of today's constantly evolving marketing practices.
The Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) is the world's largest professional marketing association and aims to maintain professional standards, improve the skills of marketing practitioners and enabling them to deliver exceptional results for their organisations.
