A business strategy is a fundamental building block for all businesses. It is used to give an organisation direction and outlines how it intends to succeed within its given market place against its competitors. The course will look at how business strategies are formed and look in detail at issues that need to be considered when implementing a strategy.

Leadership and Management Techniques
Through a series of case studies and practical based learning you will learn how to become an effective manager within an organisation. The course will look in-depth at the skills and traits needed within management positions and give you a hands-on learning experience, teaching you the tools and techniques that are frequently utilised within management to drive an organisation forward.

Gain a comprehensive understanding of marketing planning and the processes involved in creating a marketing plan. The course will provide you with hands on experience of conducting a marketing audit, generating alternative growth strategies and an understanding of how to select a brand position based on market factors. The course will allow you to confidently contribute at a strategic level within an organisation.

International Business and New Ventures
You will look in detail at the risk elements involved when developing business abroad, including taxation and regional legislation. Through the use of case studies, you will gain an understanding of the practical issues involved in entering foreign markets and the many complexities and challenges presented by expanding into international territories.

Strategic Business Management
Through this course you will gain the capability to apply strategic thinking to the management function of an organisation. You will learn how to use a range of tools that will help you analyse organisations, industry sectors and problem areas so that you can devise strategies that will promote organisational growth and stability.

Through our project management course, you will look in detail at the project planning process and learn about the tools and techniques used to deliver projects efficiently and effectively. You will study in detail the strategic elements of the project and gain an understanding of the aims, objectives and budget limitations that are typical of all projects. You will also examine the role of the project manager and project team.

Management and Leadership
Strong management and leadership skills are essential to business success, however they do not come naturally to everyone. Our Management and Leadership course equips you with the skills needed to be a powerful effective leader capable of driving an organisation forward. The course will look in detail at leadership traits and examine the tools and techniques used when managing an organisation. You will learn how to empower people and gain an understanding of how to conceptualise change.

Marketing Strategies and Operation
This course provides you with an introduction to the purpose, processes and methodologies of marketing strategies and operations. You will learn how to apply both traditional and digital marketing techniques and gain an understanding of both the micro and macro environmental factors that affect organisations. You will gain an informed understanding of marketing planning and the strategic, operational and tactical issues that affect it.

Gain an advanced understanding of the complexities of international business and the environment in which they operate. Learn how different cultures can affect business and understand the different entry strategies organisations utilise when expanding their operations into different markets. You will also gain an understanding of the impact that globalisation has on business and an appreciation of the challenges and opportunities that this presents.

Accounting for Performance and Control
Through this course you will develop a solid understanding of the principles of cost and management accounting. You will learn the key techniques and methods used and understand the role management accounting plays in various decision making and information generating activities. You will also gain an understanding of how to prepare budgets and other budgetary control statements and learn how to analyse variances and their possible causes.

Digital Marketing and New Media
Gain an understanding of advanced digital marketing practices and techniques used by today’s marketing practitioners. The course will look at the use of social media channels including; Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Google+ and explore how to effectively use them within marketing campaigns. You will also gain an understanding of search engine optimisation, E-marketing communication tools and learn how to harness the power of influence online.
Through the course, you will develop skills in new media and a thorough understanding of the digital tools used when implementing a digital marketing strategy. The hands-on approach to teaching will give you an understanding of how to win both customers and clients through digital marketing channels.
