Finance Courses

In today's turbulent economic climate, the ability to invest wisely, manage risk and make informed, educated assessments of the financial market, are more essential than ever before. At LSFB, we have created a portfolio of intensive short courses, designed to give you the edge you need to succeed in this challenging and rewarding sector.

Delivered over the course of one month, these intensive courses are designed to introduce and establish the foundations on each of their key subject areas.

The courses below can be taken within the Advanced Management Programme, or as single courses to fill in gaps in your existing knowledge.

Who is it for?

The Financial Courses are for anyone with three to four years' managerial experience, who needs to establish a more detailed knowledge. The courses are also suitable for those who aspire to a career in management, and have a desire to undertake a new challenge in their careers.

Please note, although no language test is required, it is imperative that delegates are fluent in English.

Assessment

All the courses are assessed by written assignments, or projects that have to be completed and sent to LSBF five weeks after the course completion date.

  • Financial ManagementRead moreCollapse

    This course has been developed for managers and directors, who aren't required to work within accounts, but will still need a working knowledge of financial management. Each session is structured to offer you the knowledge to assists in making the best informed financial decisions. Through the use of practical case studies, you'll have the chance to look at reports, and to understand financial statements. With this programme, you will also explore creative accountancy and "off balance", while learning to prepare budgets and other budgetary control statements. On completion of this course, you will be able to structure the content of these reports, and determine who will use them.

  • Advanced Financial Modelling ProcessRead moreCollapse

    You will make use of your skills to build a life like model, capable of forecasting the future performance of a company. Through this programme, we also introduce a number of important accountancy subjects which are demonstrated through practical scenarios, giving you an edge of practical experience outside of the workplace. To study this programme, we require you to have a basic understanding of accountancy, and students who do not qualify for entry can first pursue an accounting short course.
