Lecturer: Dave Coker
Dave has over 25 years experience in international investment banking, with expertise in Risk Management, Structured Products and Portfolio Management. Having conducted business in over twenty countries, he has gained valuable experience during his employment with institutions such as Deutsche Bank (New York, London & Frankfurt), Moody's (London), Dow Jones (New York) and EDS ABN AMRO Bank (Amsterdam and London). Dave holds an MSc Quantitative Finance, an Executive MBA in General Management and a PGCf in Management, and is also in the process of completing his PhD in Finance. Dave's first book on Investment Management will be published Q1 2012.
Lecturer: Daniel Valentine
Dr Daniel Valentine, DBA, MLitt, MBA, BSc, MCMI, MCIM, MIRS, reads philosophy at King's College London, and economics at St Andrews University. Daniel worked in finance and PR for nine years, finishing as Head of Investor Relations and Financial Communications for a FTSE 100 company.
Daniel is a qualified Financial PR Professional, and he holds a doctorate in Strategic Human Resource Management. He has an energetic teaching style, integrating case studies, best practice, and the latest academic research into his sessions. Daniel was the keynote speaker at the Dubai Leadership Summi
Lecturer: José Scheuer
Having lived and worked in 4 European countries, José Scheuer is a true international. She has a MSc from EAP-ESCP (Paris, Oxford, Berlin) and worked for 10 years for the Multinational Beiersdorf in Hamburg in Trade marketing, Brand management and International Marketing. Having lectured at the Hanze University in the Netherlands, she has years of experience with teaching subjects such as Brand Management, Strategic Business Management, Marketing Research and E-Commerce.
Lecturer – Stephen Coe
After gaining his MA in Engineering at Cambridge University, Stephen Joined KPMG as a qualified chartered accountant. He spent the next 12 years as a Financial Modelling consultant, before leaving KPMG to join UBS Warburgas as Associate Director, providing training in financial modelling and corporate finance. His clients include: UBSWarburg, Close Brothers Corporate Finance, Commerzbank, Credit Agricole Indosuez, Dresdner Kleinwort Benson, HypoVeirnzbank, Merrill Lynch Mercury Asset Management, Morgan Stanley Dean Witter, HBOS, Royal Bank of Scotland, CIBC, Drueker & Co, Doertenbach & Co, Europa Partners Ltd, Krüger & Uhen, Augusta & Co, Rawlinson & Hay, KPMG, Baker Tilly, Grant Thornton, Cinven, Colliers CRE and the BBC.
